TFT6 consists of at least 40 Operators deriving from the most elite Special Forces in the world. Established as a Global Crisis Response Team (GCRT) in 2016 focusing on High-Threat Counter-Terrorism, the Task Force has been deployed in a multitude of environments and conflicts; specialising in Hostage Rescue, Search and Destroy, HVT Elimination and Amphibious Assaults. Though, they are known to conduct many other types of covert operations. Due to the nature of TFT6, it has separate departments all of which specialise in a particular operation type and are used as a means to immerse the player into the role of an elite Operator. These departments are:
Task Force Team Six Global (TSIX)
This is the main department within the Task Force. Focusing strategy on militarised support, country aid and the UN in their military Operations under the Global Military Safety Organisation (GMSO) banner. The Task Force pools multiple assets from around the globe to successfully execute their objective(s).
Quick Response Team Six (QRST)
Specialises in fast-response and high-risk infiltration i.e. repelling and paradrop insertion. QRTS, less well-known than their army counterpart, derives from TSIXs most prestige operators. Conducts operations that need to be dealt with in a fast, professional and precise manner.
Maritime Intervention Team (MIT)
Focuses on maritime insertion with Operators trained in UW comms, advanced diving, UW insertion and reconnaissance. (This is a hybrid department with both a military and police presence. (Police MIT operators have black uniforms)
Aviation Team Six (ATS)
This department is responsible for all the air assets within the unit, from transport, CAS (Close Air Support) and Reconnaissance. Also, ATS has a dedicated server and Lieutenant to ensure all pilots are well trained and adaptable to any scenario. ATS are integral to a mission and all pilots are briefed alongside command.
Task Force Team Six Intervention (TSI)
The Anti-Terrorism, Anti-Crime Task Force, focuses on quick response to support local police agencies. The force thrives in CQB (Close Quarters Battle) and any urban environment. TSI teams are heavily equipped with unparalleled military-type hardware and trained to deploy against threats of terrorism, crowd control or in situations beyond the capabilities of ordinary law enforcement. This department also has its own range of custom made mods!
Snatch And Grab Team (TSGT)
One of the newest additions to the Task Force, focuses on quick snatch and grab operations. This department is tasked with gathering intelligence prior to “the grab” to piece together the pattern of their target. When an individual/group need to be arrested, the TSGT will track him down and perform the arrest as fast as possible, thus reducing the chance for escape.
Task Force Team Six Security (TSEC)
A Task Force that is used to protect military/political officials, informants and, in 2017, announced their protection commitment to the likes of the UN and IDAP. This department manages risk, conducts threat analysis, plans safety routes and always considers the worst case scenario. They ensure “the Asset” remains safe while in transport from A to B.
We are a fictional unit, however this does not mean that we are less realistic. What is does mean is we have the flexibility to play in any style we wish - and with the departments established above, can become fully immersed into the roleplay scenario.
Real world tactics used in today's wars are employed. Tactics which are used in our self-created missions which we carefully plan out. Each mission consists out of a detailed and realistic background story to add to immersion. We build our operations on scenarios that did happen or could happen in real life (yes, everyone here loves a good war story).
Besides that, we are a friendly group of people from all over the world (most being from Europe). We play our ‘Official operations’ on Thursdays and Saturdays at 20:00 CET (lasting around 2-3 hours). Throughout the week, we also plan mini-ops (where you can jump in and try something new - maybe you’ve never been grenadier?) and also trainings (the fundamental aspect of any cohesive team).
Whether you are completely new to Arma 3 or a Scar-Faced Arma 2 Vet we are happy to have you. Remember, a life without Arma just isn’t worth living. ACTIO IN REM SCRIPTA.
