There are a few rules that we follow before and during a session to keep the organised.
What we ask people when they decide to join a session
- Make sure mods are updated/downloaded before the session starts
- Sign up for the official sessions
- When signing off, do so 24 hours before the session starts
- If there are any particularities, put them on the sign-up form
- Join the TeamSpeak server at least 15 minutes before a session starts
- Do not use any third party mods that can spawn in any gear/ammo/weapons/vehicles mid game.
- Do not place random markers on the briefing screen or map in-game.
- Do not make inappropriate moments
- Do not poke/message any members that are taking place in the mission about your status for example if you are dead
- Follow the chain of command
These rules are there to filter out the people that end up not meeting the groups standards. These rules do not only apply to members that have just joined the unit, but also continues in the first probation week. The new recruits get one week (probation week) to show their activity and proper dedication to the unit. Also, they will need to have their mods fixed in this first week (we can help you with this). If the recruit fails to do so, he will be removed from the unit for lacking the necessary requirements stated above
f you will be inactive for over a week's time, you are required to report this to your Squad Sergeant and fill out an LOA (Leave of Absence) located on the forums. Failure to do so could result in removal from the Task Force. Valid reasons i.e. school, birthdays, friends, or any other real life situation can be reported without question. A reason we will not accept is “I don't feel like playing arma for a while”.
If you have been kicked for inactivity, it is possible to get back in the unit without reapplying. You must contact your Squad Lieutenant and inform them about your reason for inactivity. Following this, your reason will be judged by High Command and you will be informed if you are accepted back into the unit.
Leave of Absence
As mentioned above when you are going away for a week or longer you should mention this in a LOA (Leave of Absence) wich can be posted here: http://tsix.enjin.com/forum/m/43587685/viewforum/8503849.
Please make sure too follow the right posting template, make sure to mention the starting and end date, also provide a reason. If the format is not followed the LOA will not be accepted. You will then receive a message asking to add the missing information. If this is not done in time your status will change to Inactive.
We play all kinds of missions in Task Force Team Six, both real life or fictional. No matter what, we will always try to put a detailed story behind every mission.
When are the sessions?
We always aim for a minimum of 2 official operations. These Operations will be added to the home page on the forum on the calendar (Just make sure you sign up or you will not be able to participate). Each Operation on the calendar will show additional information for that session like Mods needed, Updates, Mission details, etc.
- Thursday 20:00 - 23:00 GMT + 1 (UK TIME 19:00 - 22:00)
- Saturday 20:00 - 23:00 GMT + 1 (UK TIME 19:00 - 22:00)
Participating in an official operation
When you want to participate in an Official Operation, you are required to sign up so mission creators can gauge the interest and numbers. Please keep in mind that if you do not sign yourself up, you will not be able to play the Operation. Sign up should be done at least 2 hours before Op start. More information about Operation sign ups below!
How do I sign up for an operation?
Signing up goes as follows:
Each week, 2 signups will be placed on the home page of the forum in the calendar. Here you can find additional information about the event such as time/date, mods, Operation name, campaign, etc. When you press at the event a window will appear, here you can press sign up and change your status to: Attending, Not attending or mabye. If you cannot attend, please add an additional comment to your signup stating your reason.
How to resign from a session
There is no issue if you signed up but then found out you cannot participate in the Operation, just make sure to resign from the session you are signed up for. You can do this by contacting your squad Sergeant or the person that organises the event and tell him/her that you can not participate the session and give your reason. Also, do not forget to change your status to Not attending
